The PCM35 marimba mallets are medium hard for articulate passages and work on the higher range of the instrument with a great sound as rollers on the mid to upper range of the instrument. They are constructed from a rubber and latex core wrapped in a 100% wool yarn. Great care is taken in the manufacturing process, even down to the aesthetics of the recessed logo. The shaft is has two zones, with the grip zone left natural and unlacquered to ensure the player is always in control - resulting in less slippage in the hands - which also means less blisters.
