The PCM30 marimba mallets are medium-hard, and great all purpose use on the mid to high range of the instrument. They are constructed fro a rubber and latex core wrapped in a 100% wool yarn. Great care is taken in the manufacturing process, even down to the aesthetics of the recessed logo. The shaft is has two zones, with the grip zone left natural and unlacquered to ensure the player is always in control - resulting in less slippage in the hands - which also means less blisters.
