The Salyers Marching Arts Series mallets are designed specifically for field and indoor percussion applications. The cord wound mallets take advantage the vibraphone's depth and sustain while having the ability to project even at the highest dynamic levels.

The shafts are a flexible rattan making them perfect for mallet dampening.

Another one of Salyers perfect and useful finishing touches is the color-coding of the butt end of the shafts. You'll always know which mallets are coming out of the bag - and no more taping the ends! Another great feature is the model number is etched into the shaft so it won't rub off over time.

The MAV30 is a hard mallet - great for projection and articulation but with the perfect amount  of attack.
