This is the soft version of the MAB series mallets for more subtle, rich bass drum tone. Extra comfortable grip, superior balance and great sound quality are all baked into some of the easiest to play marching bass drum mallets on the market. The shafts are turned from white hickory and the puffy, soft heads are tightly secured and shaped perfectly for optimal projection. The extra large MAB5S is ideal for bass drums sized 28" - 32".
