Grant Butters earned his Bachelors Degree in music business from Mansfield University of Pennsylvania. As a performer, he was a member of DCA’s Hawthorne Caballeros in 2009 and 2012. Grant also marched in DCI with the Glassmen in 2010. Throughout his performing career, Grant has had the privilege of being taught by Marc Garside, Conrad Alexander, David Dumont and Rob Ferguson. His most notable teaching experience was with the Penn State Indoor Drumline in 2013, the Hawthorne Caballeros from 2013-2015, the George Mason Indoor Drumline in 2015, and the Reading Buccaneers from 2018-present. Grant is currently a designer and consultant to numerous groups in the north east. Under his direction the South County indoor drumline has grown into a WGI Percussion Scholastic World Class Finalist.

Marc Garside is the Founder/CEO of EPIC Percussion which was established in 2013. He has been a percussion designer and instructor for the marching arts in central PA since 2002, working with several very successful high school programs. Currently he is the percussion caption-head and arranger for the White Sabers Drum and Bugle Corps, a GE judge in Tournament of Bands, Percussion Director for the TOB All-Star Band that performs in the Philadelphia Thanksgiving Parade, and a music and/or drill designer as well as instructor for several high school programs, including; Williamsport (PA) High School, Lake Lehman High School, Bloomsburg High School, Loyalsock High School, Tyrone High School, Hamilton West High School, and South Williamsport High School. Marc was also formerly the percussion caption-head and arranger for the Hawthorne Caballeros Drum and Bugle Corps and the Director and Staff/Program Coordinator for the Penn State Indoor Drumline. This indoor season, Marc and his team at EPIC started the EPIC Cadets indoor drumline, which is comprised of students between 4th and 8th grade in the Williamsport region. They are the first Independent Junior Marching Ensemble in the region, and competed in TIA and the New York State Percussion Circuit. He also manages EPIC Percussion’s daily operations, retail, and oversees the studio which has 50 private lesson students and several concert ensembles. Many of his students have gone on to become music teachers, instructors, show designers, and performers with top DCI and WGI ensembles.
Ryan has performed with the Promethius Percussion Ensemble, Mansfield University Wind Ensemble, and the Bluecoats Drum & Bugle Corps. He is currently a performing percussionist with the Williamsport Symphony Orchestra and The Billtown Brass and actively composes, arranges. He along with Dr. Adam Brennan founded and are the musical directors of The Great Lakes Wind Symphony in Rochester, New York. Ryan also serves and the co-director and musical arranger for the Penn State University Indoor Drumline.
Ryan Pritchard is a native of upstate New York and has been an active performer and instructor in Pennsylvania, New York, and Ohio for over 18 years. Ryan was inspired by the Drum & Bugle Corps activity from an early age and has pursued musical instruction and performance in percussion and instrumental conducting. He began as a member of Spectrum Drum & Bugle Corps from 1995-1998 and a member of the instructional staff in 2000.
In 2013, Ryan joined the team at EPIC Percussion in Williamsport, PA and has been an integral part of the growth of the company as instructor, clinician, and product specialist. He along with founder Marc Garside, have set standards in quality percussion gear and education in the region.
Ryan holds a Master of Music in instrumental conducting from Mansfield University as well as percussion performance and education degrees. Ryan is currently a class percussion instructor at Mansfield and a former director of the Mansfield Symphonic Band. Ryan also teaches class percussion at Susquehanna University.
